Sasa is the Head of Artificial Intelligence and Data Policy of UnionBank. She also serves as its Data Protection Officer. She used to be Senior Consultant and Data Protection Officer of Spanish-based business process outsourcing company, Indra, a position that exposed her to international standards for data protection. Prior to that, she is one of the pioneers of Data Privacy Office of Globe Telecom and of Standards & Compliance Group of TV5 Network. She is one of the authors of the book, "Data Privacy and Cybercrime Prevention in the Philippine Digital Age" with almost a decade of experience in IT governance, legal compliance, cybersecurity, and data protection.
