Harsh is a technologist with over 15 years of experience, specializing in cloud strategy, data strategy and big data analytics. He has spent around half of his career with Microsoft, where he was a Global Black Belt for big data analytics on Azure, working with enterprise customers across the US on defining their cloud and data strategy, as well as solving complex big data and machine learning problems using cloud-based technology platforms. Harsh joined Databricks in January 2020, and in his time there led a team that worked with several large strategic enterprises across financial services, retail, manufacturing, etc., helping them define their data and analytics strategy, and use it to solve complex business problems as well as utilize Databricks in the most efficient way. He joined Merck in 2024 as a Director, Data Analytics & AI, and in his stint there he is leading the Strategy and Architecture function, as well as focusing on helping them define their GenAI strategy, from RAG implementations to pre-training and fine-tuning of open source LLM's.
