Samia Rahman is the former Director for Enterprise Data Strategy and Governance at Seagen and a former Data Mesh Architect at ThoughtWorks. She has launched three data and AI initiatives in healthcare and life science companies that enable innovation at scale. She also, partnered with the founder of Data Mesh, Zhamak Dehghani, in 2019 to define the pragmatic implementation of data mesh, a distributed architecture pattern, that results in the return on investment that organizations seek to achieve with data and AI. As of recent, she continues to explore and activate teams with leveraging generative AI to accelerate innovation in cost effective ways.
