Shreesha is an Associate Director of Applied Machine Learning at Best Buy. He leads a team of Machine Learning Scientists and Engineers building ML models the digital customer retail journey through personalized recommendations and ads. The team's technical expertise includes Multi Stage Recommender Systems, Offpolicy evaluation, Embeddings, Bayesian A/B testing, and more recently LLMs. Prior to Best Buy, Shreesha worked for several years in various Firms (most recently at Amazon) identifying & delivering the highest ROI Machine Learning opportunities across diverse domains such as HR, Professional Services, Supply Chain and Medical Diagnostics. In his spare time, he also advises growth startups with their ML roadmap to turbocharge their customer growth. He has also published two Data Science courses - one to help data scientists level up their skills in iterative development of Data Science solutions and the second in predicting anomalies from sparse datasets. He is also currently a Technical Editor for a book on GPT.
