AI Governance Advisor Credo AI
Ankita Mohapatra

As an AI Governance Advisor at Credo AI, Ankita Mohapatra builds AI governance programs for some of the world's most complex organizations: Fortune 20 companies, top-five US banks, and major production houses, across more than 30 engagements spanning healthcare, financial services, transportation, entertainment, and CPG. She began this work in 2021, before the GenAI wave made AI governance a board-level concern. Roughly half of her programs were the first AI governance programs those organizations had ever built. She works at every level of what functional governance actually requires: augmenting workflows to handle agent architectures, recalibrating risk assessment frameworks to reflect a company's real risk tolerance (when everything scores high risk, nothing is high risk), building enterprise AI governance dashboards for leadership visibility, and advising on automated model evaluation pipelines that make oversight scalable. Her programs reach every persona, from citizen developers and business owners procuring AI to the technical teams running evaluation infrastructure. Her field experience directly informs Credo AI's platform, recognized as the market leader in the 2025 Forrester Wave. She leads workshops and panels on AI governance topics in various forums, most recently at Reuters Momentum AI NYC. Earlier in her career, she helped formalize PwC's Responsible AI consulting practice. She has pursued graduate studies in data science at Georgia Tech.
