Dr. Arthur J. O’Connor is the head of the MS in Generative AI, MS in Data Science, and BS in Information Science degree programs at the City University of New York’s School of Professional Studies. He has over 15 years’ experience as a senior corporate executive of two Fortune 500 companies and served over 10 years as an IT management consultant. His is the author of several peer-reviewed academic research studies and magazine articles. In November of 2024, his book, Organizing for Generative AI and the Productivity Revolution, was published by Apress Publishers. His most recent speaking engagements include keynote speaker at MACH Alliance, Creating the AI-Ready Enterprise, London, UK, Oct 22, 2025, panel moderator at the AI Summit New York, Dec 10, 2025. A graduate of the Newhouse School of Journalism at Syracuse University, he earned his MBA in finance from Fordham University and his Doctorate of Professional Studies from the Lubin Business School at Pace University.
