As a long-time practitioner of Artificial Intelligence and Decision Management solutions, Brian has specialized in intelligent applications for financial services and mortgage lending for nearly 25 years. Most recently, Brian lead the Responsible AI and Model Governance practice for Rocket Mortgage and the Rocket Companies. His team designed and developed the Rocket Ethical Framework (“REF”) – an automated business process to ensure consistent and complete review of AI before going to production including analysis for data privacy, permissible use, and fairness. In addition, Brian is a Senior Advisor to the Mortgage Bankers Association MISMO organization where he is a co-chair of both the Artificial Intelligence and Decision Modeling Workgroups. Brian also co-founded two companies that specialized in the design and implementation of intelligent systems. He has implemented and managed business rule development efforts in a variety of domains including the secondary mortgage market, credit card marketing and processing, mutual fund portfolio analysis, insurance underwriting and risk management, and for various Federal civilian agencies.
