11:10 AM Presentation – What AI Governance 2.0 Looks Like: The Leidos Story

Most AI governance programs were built to handle a handful of use cases reviewed by a small team. They weren't built for what's coming: hundreds of AI initiatives, agentic systems operating with real autonomy, and regulators who want evidence, not assurances. This session traces how Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), one of the largest defense and technology companies in the world, built an AI governance program that scales. Gerald Kierce, Co-Founder & CEO of Trustible, and Sophia Toomey, Enterprise AI Governance Manager at Leidos, walk through what it took to move from fragmented processes to operational governance, and where the program is headed as AI agents become a core part of how work gets done.
  • How Leidos centralized AI oversight across a complex, mission-critical portfolio without slowing deployment.
  • What changes when agentic AI enters the governance equation: new risks, new workflows, new accountability structures.
  • What AI Governance 2.0 looks like in practice: agents that automate the governance lifecycle.
