Head of Infosys Responsible AI Office, Americas Infosys

Mandanna Appanderanda, popularly known as Mandy, is the Head of the Responsible AI Office for Infosys, Americas. In this role, he is dedicated to fostering a positive impact in the AI landscape by helping enterprises navigate the complexities of AI and mitigate associated risks.

Mandy’s work focuses on promoting the adoption of AI in a responsible and ethical manner. He collaborates closely with government agencies, policymakers, influencers, think tanks, industry bodies, and academic institutions to shape a future where AI benefits society at large. He actively contributes to international organizations such as NIST and the World Economic Forum, concentrating on advancing Responsible AI adoption.

He leads research teams that monitor industry trends and emerging developments, implementing tools and solutions to improve and streamline machine learning systems. Mandy is also responsible for the continuous evolution of codified and automated Responsible AI Guardrails, ensuring adherence to corporate AI ethics policies. His role further encompasses competency development, IP creation, incubation, and scaling of Responsible AI initiatives within Infosys.

With over 15 years of experience, Mandy has led large-scale transformation programs, specializing in cloud technologies, content management, DevOps, operations, and artificial intelligence.
