Shrimant Tripathy is the Head of IT Risk and Service Resilience function at The World Bank Group out of Washington, DC. He is responsible for IT Risk Management, Application Security, Service Continuity and Resilience – overseeing management of security and risks within the adoption of new technologies including Cloud, Mobile and AI. As the Bank Group gears toward leveraging the power of AI to accelerate, deepen, and sustain development impact, help client countries improve the lives of the poor and vulnerable by delivering innovative and secure solutions – Shrimant is leading development and operationalization of the AI risk management framework, which will be an enabler for adopting AI-powered solutions. Additionally, he is involved in establishing governance around AI solutions, developing a playbook for conducting threat modelling and security testing of LLMs, predictive and generative AI based solutions.
