Juan Carlos began his career in bioinformatics after studying Veterinary Science, later transitioning into data science and leading projects across banking, telcos, and innovative startups. He went on to join MercadoLibre as Senior Manager in Advertising, where he led Data Science and Engineering teams and developed a passion for product strategy and the long-term value of data. He later joined Glovo, where he extended and scaled the Data Platform as the company grew from startup to scale-up. Today, he leads the Data Platform at Delivery Hero, driving global data strategy and building efficient, mature, and impactful data capabilities.
