Head of AI Regulatory Strategy and Implementation Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT)
Gabriela (Gabi) Commatteo is the acting Head of AI Regulatory Strategy and Implementation in the AI Regulation team at the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT). Gabi has been working on the AI and digital law and regulation space for more than five years. Within DSIT, she has led on important aspects of the AI regulation policy, including the pro-innovation approach introduced through the UK AI Regulation White Paper. Gabi has led the AI White Paper consultation process and its current implementation. Previously, she worked for the Argentine Congress on various roles.
