Head of Data Governance Schroders

Joanne joined Schroders in July 2024 to lead the Data Governance initiative and became a member of the newly formed Schroders Data Office in January 2025. With over 20 years’ experience in the finance industry, she has specialised in Data Governance since 2016, developing organisation-wide strategies and frameworks. Joanne has a proven track record of establishing standardised and centralised Data Governance functions to deliver data assurance and quality. As a non-technical specialist, she works closely with both business and technical teams, advocating for non-invasive Data Governance that positions governance as an enabler. A passionate mentor, Joanne regularly speaks at data-led events as both a moderator and panellist.
