Pete Archer is Programme Director of Generative AI at the BBC. He leads the BBC’s work on Generative AI, working across strategy, development, policy and partnerships. Prior to taking up this role, Pete was Director of Corporate Strategy and led the development of mission-critical strategy including the BBC’s long-term plan, funding settlement, portfolio management and emerging technology strategy. Prior to joining the BBC Pete worked for the UK Government as a senior policy advisor at the Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit, No 10 Downing Street.
