Eric J.W. Orlowski is a policy-focused researcher at AI Singapore, where he leads initiatives on AI governance and implementation. Trained as a sociocultural anthropologist, his work bridges emerging technologies and their societal implications through a human-centric lens. In addition to his roles at AI Singapore and the National University of Singapore, Eric holds affiliations with AI Sweden and Uppsala University. He has been researching the intersection of technology and society since 2018, with a focus on how culture, context, and policy shape responsible AI deployment.
