Abantika Chatterjee

Head of AI Capability EBRD

Abantika brings over a decade of experience across AI strategy, product management, technology consulting, and enterprise transformation. She is currently an Associate Director at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), where she leads the AI Centre of Excellence, driving the organisation's enterprise AI strategy, adoption, and delivery of secure and responsible AI solutions. Her work focuses on scaling AI across a highly regulated financial institution, bringing together innovation with robust governance, security, risk management, and responsible AI practices. She leads the development of enterprise-grade AI capabilities, including Generative and Agentic AI solutions, while working closely with business and technology leadership to translate emerging technologies into measurable business outcomes. Prior to EBRD, Abantika was with Dyson, where she spearheaded the AI roadmap within the Research, Design and Development IT function and led the global Application Lifecycle Management domain. Earlier in her career, she worked across product development and technology consulting at Deloitte and other organisations, delivering AI/ML-driven solutions. Beyond technology, Abantika is a passionate arts enthusiast with a keen interest in music and diverse dance forms.
