Karen joined the LEGO Group in 2020 and is the global lead for Child Safeguarding and Child Participation. Karen previously worked at NCA CEOP, leading engagement with the games sector, NGOs and academia, to holistically and collaboratively enhance safeguards online. As a registered social worker Karen has also worked in front line child protection and has dedicated her career to promoting the rights of children and creating safe and empowering environments for children to create, learn and play.
