Sarah spent 16 years in the civil service working in key roles to tackle serious organised crime and protect children, including leading the Online Child Sexual Abuse Threat (CEOP) at the National Crime Agency and co-chairing the Virtual Global Taskforce. Sarah recently moved over to Ofcom to head up child sexual abuse (CSA) policy, Triage and law enforcement engagement, as part of Ofcom’s new responsibilities under the Online Safety Act. Sarah led the development of a number of measures to protect children from online CSA, which are currently out for consultation and will form part of the first illegal harms code of practice to regulate online services.
