Trust & Safety Manager Jagex

Steve is a Jagex veteran of 16 years, with a career spent largely in Operational Player Support teams and Community Management. As the Trust and Safety Manager for the Jagex group he now takes lead on all aspects of moderation for the Jagex titles, including the RuneScape franchise with a global user base of over 300 million accounts. As well as designing proprietary automated safety heuristics, Steve also leads the studio approach to safeguard all players from risks associated with online toxicity whilst ensuring regulatory compliance and industry leading duty of care. Steve works on collaborative projects for Trust and Safety, sharing expertise and best practice working with organisations such as the Internet Watch Foundation, the National Crime Agency and Cambridge Police.
