Alice Genevois is the Responsible AI Lead at Lloyds Banking Group, where she oversees a portfolio of programmes and products dedicated to developing safe, ethical, and efficient AI systems. Her team brings together a unique blend of expertise—one part focused on ethics, AI governance, and assurance, and the other on building technical guardrails and mitigations for AI use cases. Alice designed and owns Lloyds Banking Group’s AI Assurance Framework, which has been recognised by industry peers and external consultants as a best-in-class model for responsible AI deployment. With a background spanning data science, ethics, consulting, and statistics, Alice has held several advisory roles, including serving on the UK Finance AI Policy Board, where she contributes to shaping the strategic direction and ethical oversight of AI in financial services. A passionate advocate for inclusion and diversity, Alice leads the steering committee for Women in Data at Lloyds Banking Group and has served as a judge for the Women in Tech Excellence Awards for the past five years.
