Carol is a lawyer with expertise in Data Protection, Data Ethics and Employment Law. She has set up and run first line of defence Data Protection teams, as well as Data Protection and Data Ethics Change Programmes in two large banks. In her current role, she is developing a Data and AI Ethics Programme to deliver into BAU in a mutual. She is a former Non-Executive Director of a Pension Fund, as well as tutor at the University of Edinburgh School of Law.
