Ger Janssen has a PhD in Applied Physics from Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands. He joined Philips in 2001 in the computational modeling domain, brought the Digital Twin concept to Philips and later started to focus on AI and hybrid intelligence, combining AI with computational modeling. He was head of the AI, Data Science & Digital Twin department in Philips Research before starting to focus on Responsible AI topics. Currently he is the AI Ethics & Compliance Lead in Philips and with his Responsible AI Office supporting Philips to use, develop and deploy AI solutions in a responsible way.
