Harry has a passion for ethical, inclusive & data-driven AI product design and leads efforts within Elsevier to implement Responsible AI & Data Science Principles. They work on embedding principles of fairness, accountability, transparency, explainability & mitigation of harms into Elsevier’s data science ways of working; developing organisation-wide best practices and process for ethical use of data and technology as well as chairing the Elsevier AI Ethics Board. Harry’s background is in mathematics & statistics, completing a PhD in biostatistics at Imperial College before beginning a career in data science and later focussing on Responsible AI
