Maeve Madigan

Research Scientist VISA

Maeve is a research scientist in the Risk and Security AI Lab at VISA where she works on AI systems for fraud detection and financial security. Her research interests focus on the behaviours and risks of agentic financial systems, including emergent bias in multi-agent financial decision-making, as well as ongoing work on the evaluation and debiasing of large language models. Before transitioning into AI research she trained as a theoretical physicist.
