Myrna is AI Risk Lead at OVO Energy. OVO is harnessing data & AI to aid greener decisions and provide clean affordable energy for everyone. Myrna leads OVO’s AI risk function: ensuring that AI is developed, procured and used in a safe and responsible way. Previously Myrna was Principal Data Strategist and Lead, Responsible AI at Ocado Technology, a provider of smart solutions and advanced robotics for online grocery retail. Before that Myrna led responsible AI at the BBC, where she published the first comprehensive standard for responsible ML in media, the BBC’s Machine Learning Engine Principles. Myrna is a former British diplomat. She has worked on international economic and climate negotiations and served in Belgium, Kosovo, Germany, and Israel.
