Richard Boorman brings over 20 years of experience in data, data science, and artificial intelligence. He has led data science teams across major organisations and played a pivotal role in shaping regulatory approaches to AI, having established the AI & Model Risk function at the UK’s financial regulator. In 2025, Richard joined Mastercard’s world-leading AI Governance team, where he focuses on embedding ethical, responsible, and human-centric AI practices across the enterprise.
