John McSwain has spent his career turning fast-moving technology into decisions. As a Senior Solutions Architect at NVIDIA, he supports Dell OEM and Channel partners across North America, Latin America, and EMEA, helping them move agentic AI workflows and the infrastructure behind them from pilot to production. Having trained management, sales teams, architects, and engineers across several types of AI workshops, he has a front-row view of what separates AI initiatives that scale from those that stall. Earlier in his career, he was a Senior Innovation Manager at Accenture's Liquid Studio. A systems engineering doctoral candidate at Colorado State University, John is a former instructor at Stanford, UC Berkeley, and the University of Washington. His five graduate degrees span computer science, an MBA, human-computer interaction, learning design and entrepreneurship, and that range shapes how he explains complex systems to technical and executive audiences alike.
Outside his day job, John builds. His home lab runs 7-10 nodes where he tests new models, agent designs, and deployment patterns firsthand, and he develops systems that help leaders quantify the return on AI architecture decisions. His view: "Most AI goals are guesses. At best, you get a sustainable solution. At worst, you get an invoice." Ask him about agentic workflows, AI infrastructure, or how to make the business case for either.
