Bogdan Pirvu is Head of Data & Analytics in the NOVOMATIC Global Operations, where he is responsible for the company’s global data platform, advanced analytics, and various AI initiatives. With a background as a quantum physicist and a PhD from the University of Vienna, he now focuses on turning complex data and machine learning solutions into tangible business value at scale. He has built and grown NOVOMATIC’s data science function, driving projects in predictive analytics, real-time decisioning, and Generative AI. As an entrepreneur and co-founder of a SaaS startup, he combines deep technical expertise with a pragmatic, product-focused mindset. Bogdan also lectures on Big Data Technologies and AI at universities and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, sharing hands-on lessons from building data and AI products in highly regulated, real-world environments.
