Laura Perea holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Barcelona. Throughout her career, she has worked in various sectors, some of them highly regulated such as aerospace, Industry 4.0, and Big Science. Previously, she worked at the IT Hub of Nestlé in Barcelona as the Senior Product Manager of Responsible AI and is now at PepsiCo. During the last years, she has been leading the strategy to ensure responsible adoption of AI within the company, together with the Legal and Compliance department and the Information Security department.
