Martin has been in Technology and Data for more than a quarter of a century – he has been on a mission to democratising data since before the term was coined and comes from a very colourful background. After a short stint running a development team at a mobile phone company in Austria, Martin started running a small data consultancy and a training businesses operating across Europe before joining Deloitte in the UK, where he spent 12 years as a Management Consultant – initially architecting, designing and implementing complex Digital Transformation Programmes in Insurance, then advising and guiding CIOs, CTOs and CDOs, often taking these positions on an interim basis . This year Martin finally took the step to transitioning into industry, taking on the role of CDO for Admiral Pioneer.
