Armand Angeli is a recognized expert in Finance Digital Transformation, RPA (Robotic Process Automation), AI, Shared Services and Outsourcing, and International Business Development. Armand is the Vice-President Digital Transformation focusing on RPA/Intelligent Automation /Shared Services and Outsourcing, for DFCG the French CFO network with 3 000+ Finance Executives (www.dfcg.fr). He is also the Vice-President of the International Group of DFCG. He co-leads the Finance Digital Transformation working group of the International CFO Alliance, the Federation of EMEA Financial Institutes (https://cfo-alliance.org/ ). He is the expert representing the CFO community in the EuropeIA Institute (https://institut-europia.eu). He is the EMEA Senior Advisor of EBSA the European Business Services Association (www.europeanbusinessservices.com ) which brings together thousands of Shared Services, GBS and BPO leaders. He was the co-founder of CFO Automation Experience (CFOAX, https://www.cfoautomationexperience.com/ ) an international community of CFO’s, Automation Center of Expertise leaders, Auditors, Automation experts, etc. exchanging and sharing experience between peers. Since 2016, he is an independent Strategic Business Advisor in the areas of International Business Development and Digital Transformation. He has introduced or expanded in France and Southern Europe, several key added value software and solutions to improve the performance, quality and compliance of finance functions such as Antworks, Rimilia, Redwood. From end of 2014 until May 2016, he was the practice Lead of Business Process Services (BPS / BPO for F&A, Payroll, HR, Procurement, Multichannel Cx / Contact Centers) of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE now DXC) for EMEA South (focus on France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Northern Africa). As a Partner, from 2004 to October 2012, with Grant Thornton, the global audit and accounting network, Armand held several roles over eight years including Director Global Outsourcing Services, heading business development for Finance Transformation and Outsourcing, and serving as Global Lead for Travel, Tourism and Leisure sectors, and head of Payroll Outsourcing Services. He was previously with PwC as European Business Development Director BPO, responsible for business development for shared services, outsourcing and consulting businesses for Continental Europe. He held senior international roles, such as Purchasing Director, Sales Manager, Internal Audit Director, Audit Partner, Business Development Director, Controller and CFO, over a 30-year career with IBM, General Electric, CNH, PwC, Grant Thornton and HPE. Armand has degrees in engineering from INSA Lyon (including an exchange program with IIT Chicago) (1981) and an MBA from INSEAD (1990). Armand is a French and Italian citizen. His wife is American. Active in key professional and leadership organizations, Armand was for 9 years the President Europe, Middle East and Africa for the International Association of Financial Executives Institutes (IAFEI, www.iafei.org ). He is a member of the Editorial Board of the CFO monthly magazine of DFCG. Recognized as expert and influencer in his field, he is a frequent chairman and speaker at key international conferences. He leads and delivers executive level and certified professional training in RPA, Shared Services, Outsourcing and New Technologies in renown universities such as Dauphine, HEC, Paris Nanterre, Sorbonne, Montpellier Business School.
