Head of Communications- Data & Analytics HSBC

Andy has over twenty years experience designing and implementing data and technology platforms within the financial services industry. For the last several years, Andy has combined this knowledge with his passion for communication, storytelling and behaviour change. Focussing on building data-led cultures within organisations and embedding data literacy as a core skill. Most recently, as HSBC’s Head of Communications for Data & Analytics, Andy was responsible for implementing the culture aspects of HSBC’s Data Strategy – improving the way data was thought about and talked about right across the bank. Prior to this, Andy was a Head of Architecture, responsible for modernising HSBC’s Finance data platforms, and their migration to cloud.
