SVP, Head of Data & Analytics Strategy East West Bank

Bo Xu serves as SVP, Head of Data & Analytics Strategy at East West Bank, where he leads enterprise data and analytics initiatives, including data science, advanced analytics, data product and AI/GenAI execution & adoption. In this role, he is responsible for translating the bank's growth priorities into operational data and AI execution, partnering across risk, technology, and business lines to enable data-driven decision making at scale. Prior to East West Bank, Xu spent over five years at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), most recently as a Principal and core member of the global GenAI expert team, where he led multi-disciplinary teams delivering AI and GenAI strategy, implementation, and change management programs for major financial institutions. He started his career with a four-year stint at KPMG in risk consulting, where he focused on CCAR/DFAST model development and validation.
