Susan Wegner

Dr.-Ing. Susan Wegner is a global senior executive and business technologist with 20+ years of experience in IT, Data, and AI. Since 2023, she has been the Head of Group Data&AI (SVP) at Allianz, where she leads the development and execution of the company’s enterprise-wide Data&AI strategy. As of July 15, 2025, she also serves as a Non-Executive Director at Frontier Economics, one of Europe’s leading economics consultancies. Previously, she was Managing Director at Deloitte Digital and VP of AI&Data Analytics at Lufthansa Industry Solutions. At Deutsche Telekom, she served as Chief Data Officer. Susan has also been a Board Member of the Bitkom Big Data Group, Founder&Board Member of Motionlogic, and advisor to the SAP Board and EU Commission.
