Chief Data Officer - Supply Chain Shell

Brian is a tenured senior data professional, with years of technical experience, having worked at some of the top multinationals throughout his IT career. His career focused towards the data space, with the explosion of big data in 2013, working within consulting, including a very interesting security-cleared program for the Home Office.

He joined Shell in April 2018 from a consultancy where he was Head of Big Data. Currently, He's heavily focused on driving value from data in Supply Chain/Contracting & Procurement, and led the delivery of the inaugural Supply Chain data product at Shell deployed into Collibra. He holds an MSc in Big Data Analytics, and is currently studying for a further MSc in Artificial Intelligence.
